

Task: Your task is to build the house of a slave/peasant and a senator in Ancient Rome using Minecraft.ĭifferentiation: If the students are reluctant to use Minecraft for this centre they can draw the houses using the descriptions instead. The other two students will get the second cue card that tell them they are senators in Ancient Rome. Two of the students will get the first cue card that tells them that they are slave/peasants in Ancient Rome. Introduction: Provide the students with two different cue cards.That time-warp them back to Ancient Rome. Materials Needed: Computer, Minecraft game, Screen recording program (Screenflick for Mac, Frapps for PC). More than one centre is set up around the classroom and (in groups of four or five) students get to choose the station they want to work at.
