It seems the Virus was contained and removed but not sure what is the deal. I downloaded Reader also and it installed but is not working or listed on the programs list. It did say it installed successfully once, but when I went to verify it by going to that Adobe page to see if it is there and running, the box is just blank. I ended up un-installing everything Adobe(including Reader), downloading the Adobe download manager, and downloading flash player several times. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64, IE8(32bit) and have been trying to download the latest Flash Player 10.1

Since then I have been trying to update and then re-install Adobe flash player with no success. Then later while my daughter was trying to play some web game it would not run saying "if game does not start in 10 seconds you may need to update your Flash player". According to the history in Defender I had Rougue:Win32/FakeXPA and in MalWare history: Rougue.Antivirus8 in catagories File,Folder and Registry Value and Security.Hijack in catagories Registry Key and Registry Value. Well, after that I ran a full scan which then found no more issues.
Anyway, when all this concluded I opened my Malware Bytes, updated it and ran a quick scan, which also found some trojans and whatnot. So this afternoon, while on Craigslist and with my hotmail open, all of a sudden Windows defender popped up flagging some kinds of malware or virus attack.this lead to some Anitvirus 8 (AV8) download which I apparently clicked on.
